Radiohead Guitarist Ed O'Brien stopped by Adam Buxton's Big Mixtape show on BBC 6, and shared some details on the band's upcoming release. According to Ed, the folow-up to 2007's successful In Rainbows is being recorded at the moment, and the band is "in the heart of the record." As for a release date, he says: "Ideally, it'd be great if it came out sometime this year. It's got to. I hope so," also adding that "the finishing line… it's in touching distance.

KoRn's boycott of BP has caught on as more artists have committed to avoiding the use of fuel sold by BP and its affiliates on their upcoming tours for 2010. Acts like Disturbed, Lady Gaga, Rise Against, Godsmack, Backstreet Boys, Rock Star Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, Slightly Stoopid, Rob Zombie, Megadeth, Black Label Society, Anthrax, Creed, Filter, Hellyeah and Flogging Molly have all joined the boycott. "This is the worst thing that has ever happened to the environment in U.S. history," said KoRn singer Jonathan Davis. "From everything we're hearing about now, it's become clear that BP cut corners to put profit ahead of safety. The message we are sending should tell all the oil companies to spend the money and take the necessary precautions to make sure this doesn't happen again. I'm really proud that this many artists have already come on board, and I hope more will join soon."

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2011 selections for the famous Hollywood Walk Of Fame. A number of musicians will recieve stars next year, including Slash, will.i.am, Melissa Etheridge, The Go-Go’s, Bebe & Cece Winans, along with posthumous stars for Buddy Holly and Louis Prima. Some other notable celebrities receiving stars in 2011 are Gwyneth Paltrow, Danny DeVito, Tina Fey, Neil Patrick Harris, Oprah Winfrey and The Muppets. Of course the artist we are most excited about is Slash and he took to his twitter page today and said "I am sincerely honored & humbled by my induction into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. What an amazing honor! I came from the ground up in Hollywood so this is the most genuinely special distinction I could ever receive."
