MOTLEY CRUE - DR. FEELGOOD

Vince Neil pal Robin Leach of the The Las Vegas Sun reports the singer is seriously contemplating a split from Motley Crue after their series of Las Vegas shows in February. "It's not definite, but I am thinking seriously about it," said Vince. Neil spoke with Leach from the Bahamas, where the Crue frontman went to relax after the band's recent UK tour. "I'm having a great time here -- I could stay a year!," Vince told Leach. "I'm sitting on my yacht, contemplating my future, and I'm not sure it will be with Motley Crue after Las Vegas. Great things are coming up and pushing me in another direction." "This is all about me thinking about the second half of my life, thinking about my future, and that future might not include Motley Crue after Vegas. There are so many opportunities that are in front of me that I'm really excited about. I just don't want to look back later in life and regret that I didn't pursue them," added Neil.

The nominees for the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards were announced this week, and for the second year in a row, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are up for a Best Original Score award for their work on The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (following last year's The Social Network). Meanwhile, the nominees for Best Original Song are Lady Gaga and Elton John - "Hello Hello" from Gnomeo and Juliet; Chris Cornell - "The Keeper" from Machine Gun Preacher; Sinead O'Connor - "Lay Your Head Down" from Albert Nobbs; Mary J. Blige - "The Living Proof" from The Help; and Madonna - "Masterpiece" from W.E. The 2012 Golden Globes will air Sunday, January 15 on NBC. I'll put 20 bucks down on the table that says Reznor wins ANOTHER Golden Globe. The guy is on fire as of late! He recently revealed that NIN will return next year!

JOURNEY - DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'

Journey guitarist Neal Schon went on a legal campaign this week to decontaminate the Internet -- demanding a gossip website remove a XXX picture of his private parts ... or else. Schon's attorney fired off a blistering letter to TheDirty.com on Thursday -- claiming the site published a self-taken pic of Neal ... flashing his junk in the bathroom. According to Schon's lawyer, the pic was stolen from an old cell phone -- and publishing it constituted a gross violation of the musician's privacy rights ... that, and it's just plain humiliating. The site must have bought the argument, too ... because the photo has since been removed.

Kid Rock has purchased 1,200 $25 gift cards from Michigan retailer Meijer that he plans to distribute throughout the city of Detroit as a Christmas present to people in need in his hometown. The gift cards, which are being distributed through local radio stations, will be good for redemption at any local Meijer store. This is not the last charitable act Kid Rock has up his sleeve, as a major announcement is being planned for early next year which will once again focus on Detroit.
