THREE DAYS GRACE - I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU
A PERFECT CIRCLE - JUDITH

Might we see A Perfect Circle return in the near future? The band’s website is stirring up the rumor mill with a pair of recent postings. The first, dated July 16th, simply stated, “Stuff is happening.” A second, posted on Monday, added, “Subtle stealth movement. Keep eyes and ears peeled for clues thru all channels involving Ashes Divide and Puscifer.” Billy Howerdel just completed a June residency at Hollywood’s Viper Room with Ashes Divide, and Maynard James Keenan turned up at one of the gigs. Howerdel told Antiquiet.com that the pair were working on something that should be out later this year.

Israeli Film director Oren Moverman has promised that his new Kurt Cobain biopic will be “raw and chaotic, which is what Cobain’s life was like." Although 2007 Bob Dylan biopic, I’m Not There (which Moverman co-wrote with director Todd Haynes), took artistic license with its portrayal of its subject, the Cobain film will be more mainstream in style. Moverman explained to The Guardian that, “It’ll take you from A to Z. People know the shortcut version – he took a lot of heroin, wrote “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” became the biggest rock star in the world and killed himself. Those known things about him are to me the least interesting.” The film will be based on the Cobain biography Heavier than Heaven by Charles R. Cross and is being executive produced by Courtney Love. The Nirvana singer and iconic frontman, who helped put the Seattle grunge scene on the world stage, died in 1994.
