94XPOSED FRIDAY JULY 22
Bruce Springsteen’s legendary sax man Clarence Clemons had surgery to correct carpal tunnel issues in his hands a week before he died in June, according to his widow Victoria. She recalls, "Shortly before the stroke, Clarence lost sensation in his index finger and his thumb. He had carpal tunnel surgery performed. He was seriously concerned about the ability to play sax again." "Clarence and I spent the last week of his life cooking, going out to dinner and watching movies." Not a bad way to spend the last week of your life

Wolfmother - Joker and The Theif
Wolfmother frontman Andrew Stockdale spent a night in jail at the weekend after drunkenly forcing his way onto a pub stage then brawling with bouncers. Stockdale, 35, was drinking with friends at the Archive Bar near his home in Brisbane, Australia on Sunday, while a local band were performing a set. He interrupted them and demanded to be allowed to play a song, then sang a cover of the Beatles' Let It Be with the addition of strong language. He had to be forcibly removed from the stage, and was told he wouldn't be served any more drinks. When security staff asked him to leave he sat on the floor and refused to move, at which point the police were called. Alcohol is a funny thing

Someone's playing a prank on rock's ultimate prankster. A billboard promoting Alice Cooper's September 26 gig at Sydney's Enmore Theatre has gone missing. Music Feeds reports a representative from Century Venues alerted concert promoter Chugg Entertainment of the missing artwork, saying that "the 3 x 4 metre billboard had been untied from the framework and stolen, with no traces of how. Scaling the awning and ascending somehow to the billboard framework, several metres above the awning, the stealth mission was no mean feat. It is also clear that this was no blow away Alice; as the billboard on the other side of the framework remained completely intact." Chugg are offering a reward to anyone who can offer any information of the billboard's whereabouts: 2 tickets to the Enmore Theatre show in September

Recently reunited British grunge rockers Bush stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to perform "The Sound of Winter," the first single from The Sea of Memories, their first album since 2001. The new tune updates their overwhelming sound with an aloof, Wire-like post-punk vibe and trebly guitar harmonics that amp up the song's nervous energy. The band have always had a taste for arty British rock; it's nice to see that they have embraced that on their comeback album. The new single isn't available yet, but you can see a live version of the song on the 94X Rock Radio Rules facebook page
