METALLICA - THE MEMORY REMAINS
NINE INCH NAILS - PERFECT DRUG

They may not travel in the same circles musically, but Justin Timberlake has a lot of kind words to say about Trent Reznor. Timberlake appears in the hit movie The Social Network, which features a score by the Nine Inch Nails leader. The vocalist told NME.com that he’s in awe of Reznor’s past and present work. He adds, "Every time they put something out for us to enjoy it changes what we think and how we listen to music. I often find myself in awe of them. I think what he does is beyond talent. It’s a gift. I don’t know what industrial god he has on speed dial, but I found the music in this film to really drive the emotions. Aside from being so cool, almost sound designed for the film, it is still very emotional as well." Socila Network is at Famous Players 6 now!

Duff McKagan’s surprise guest appearance with Guns n’Roses in London last week was even a surprise to the classic-era bassist, he’s revealed. As frontman Axl Rose explained on the O2 Arena stage, the pair really did just happen to be in the same hotel. And when they met for the first time since 1993 McKagan still had no idea he’d wind up playing You Could Be Mine with the new lineup – until a roadie handed him a bass at the side of the stage. Duff was in town for business and by chance his room was just down the hall from Axl. The pair met in the hallway and after a quick greeting Duff was invited to the show. He thought he would just be watching from the side of the stage until a roadie handed him a bass guitar. As soon as he hit the stage, Duff realised that he had forgotten "You Could Be Mine" but was able to fight through the song to the delight of the London Crowd! Afterwords Duff was asked when a full felged reunion would be coming. Duff declined to comment. Lets face it. Its not going to happen!
