PINK FLOYD - RUN LIKE HELL
BLIND MELON - NO RAIN

Blind Melon’s career came to an abrupt halt in the ‘90s when singer Shannon Hoon died of a drug overdose. These days Blind Melon guitarist Christopher Thorn is using music to help others overcome their drug issues. Thorn designed the Clarity Way rehab facility in South Central, Pennsylvania, and the luxurious facility includes a recording studio for clients to use. Thorn says, “Music is an art form that can affect us in profound ways and it’s basically a universal medium. It can provide comfort, joy and laughter and can help us through our most trying times. With the creation of Clarity Way, my hope is that those in recovery can use music as an outlet to find peace, and as a tool for self-discovery, in order to gain insight into who they strive to be in this life.” The facility also has an on-site music therapist to assist those wishing to make use of the studio.

Ozzy Osbourne gave a crucifix worth £3,000 to a homeless person he met on the street in Los Angeles – and asked him to pray for a better future. According to the Daily Star, Ozzy didn’t have any change on him, so took off the gold crucifix and handed that over. A source told the newspaper: “The guy asked Ozzy for some change. After searching his pockets Ozzy realised he didn’t have any so he took the gold crucifix from around his neck and gave it to the man telling him to pray with it. The man could not thank Ozzy enough.”Ozzy will be appearing at the Roundhouse in London on July 3, part of the iTunes Festival. His new album Scream is due out on June 14. OZZY OSBOURNE - LET ME HEAR YOU SCREAM
WOLFMOTHER - COSMIC EGG

Wolfmother drummer Dave Atkins has left the band after 16 months, having decided the touring life is not for him. He's been replaced by Har Mar Superstar sticksman Will Rockwell-Scott. A band statement says: "Dave has decided to leave the band to spend much-needed time at home with his family. "Dave has had a great experience touring and recording, but it's proven too exhausting and taxing on his home life. Dave gives his blessing to the band and may well be around for future recordings. "All is good between the band. Everyone is cool – this is more of a life-change decision for Dave." The band are continuing their world tour in support of last year's Cosmic Egg album and will play in Europe, the US and Australia in the coming months. They appear on the main stage at this year's Download festival on June 11.

The marketing campaign for Iron Man 2 has been pretty intense so far! AC/DC was signed on to produce the entire soundtrack for the film. The band has also planned for 20 Ironmen to fly into a stadium and land onstage during the Download festival in June. And this past weekend AC/DC took on a thousand year old Castle! The front of Rochester castle had 3D objects projected onto it which makes it look like it transforms into angus, brian, Malcolm and the crew battling Iron Man! At the end of the video the 3D effects make it look like the castle crumbles. Check it out on todays 94Xposed page @ 94xfm.com
