TOMMY LEE is working on a new reality show for Syfy. The MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer is developing Culture Shock with Tommy Lee, an investigative travel show for the network. The unscripted series stars Lee as he attempts to uncover various rituals, symbols, and other mysteries of secret societies. Lee will immerse himself in the history of each society, meet with former members and participate in their ceremonies. “This is the first show that I’ve been a part of that will blow our minds and reveal things that will explain almost all our questions,” Lee says. “I’m very excited to be partnering with Syfy on this show. It’s going to be an amazing experience for all involved.”  Itll explain almost all our questions???? Heres a question it wont explain.......Tommy, Why are you doing another reality series? Tommy goes to college was an embarrasment to rock, so why would you set yourself up for another failure???

A new exhibition, Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses, opens in Seattle in April. Memorabilia on display includes a cardigan worn by Kurt Cobain, handwritten lyrics and more than 200 other band artifacts. According to NME.com, the exhibition will run from April 16-22 at the Experience Music Project in Seattle. Bassist Krist Novoselic said: “It’s great that there will soon be a collection that celebrates [Cobain’s] contribution to music and culture. There’s a story with Nirvana at its center, but it’s a story that also includes the many people, bands and institutions that make up a music community.”

OZZY - LET IT DIE

Hockey fans are only about 3 weeks away from the best time of the year, as the NHL Playoffs are on the horizon. As many races are still to be decided, three NHL teams have already clinched playoff spots as of this week: the Vancouver Canucks, the Philadelphia Flyers and the Washington Capitals. The Capitals have already stepped up with a promo for their playoff run and, for a little inspiration, they had Ozzy Osbourne star in their campaign. With a guest appearance from the Ozman himself, "Let Me Hear You Scream" serves as the soundtrack; the song has been used as one of the team's re-entry videos when the players come back on the ice after intermissions this season, so Caps fans are already in the rock n' roll loop.

--------------------BREAK--------------------

1998 – Semisonic released their sophomore album, “Feeling Strangely Fine,” which featured the breakout hit “Closing Time.” My grad class voted for that track to be our Grad song but we were denied because of the references to whiskey and beer in the song. We ended up with Vitamin C - Graduation as our grad song. Gotta love dumbass censorship!
