94XPOSED FRIDAY FEBRUARY 25TH
94XPOSED FEBRUARY 25TH, 2011 JAX
This day back in 2004, Rolling Stones topped the UK list for music's biggest money makers. In just that year, they made 212 MILLION off of one tour. Woah.
ROLLING STONES- SATISFACTION
According to a survey done, the classic from Queen “We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions” is STILL the number one song played at sporting events. The survey was based off of the NFL, the MLB, and the NHL games of 2010, and coming in 3rd was Nickelback's “Burn it to the Ground”. Bush and Blur also came in the top 10.
It sounds like the NME music awards were QUITE the party. Muse won the Best British Band for the second year in a row, and it seems the singer was in the mood to celebrate. An interview has surfaced of Matthew Bellamy totally loaded while talking to a reporter, not being a total ass, but just pretty chirpy. A few swear words here and there, and just generally being silly. I suppose when you win such an award 2 years in a row, you have the right. Checkout the Jax blog to see the full video of the fun.

DEF LEPPARD- PHOTOGRAPH
Def Leppard have announced a North American summer tour with special guest Heart. Kind of a weird duo, but whatever. They have scheduled 45 tour dates across the States and Canada, kicking off in Florida and ending in Washington. Def Leppard is one of the only five bands to receive the “Double Diamond” award for having 2 albums sell more than 10 million copies, along with bands like Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Van Halen. A rare guitar signed by Jack White has been stolen. The instrument went missing from an art studio in London, and is valued at over $24,000 US. The guitar was being stored while a display case was built, and numerous other expensive items have gone missing as well. Very rough.
