94XPOSED MONDAY JULY 26TH

Mick Jagger – The Rolling Stones singer is 67. Rumours are floating around that The Rolling Stones are set to announce their last world tour, to coincide with their 50th anniversary as a band. The as-yet-unnamed farewell tour is set to last until 2012, 50 years after the Satisfaction rockers formed in 1962. You should note that this rumour has come from an unnamed source so don't call this rumour a fact quite yet!

ROLLING STONES - GIMME SHELTER
KINGS OF LEON - FANS

Most tickets to concerts in outdoor venues usually carry the warning that the show will go on "rain or shine." We learned this weekend that the warning does not extending pigeon droppings. Just ask Kings of Leon, who were forced off the stage Friday night three songs into their set at St. Louis' Verizon Amphitheater after being inundated by poop from pigeons living in the venue's rafters. The show's openers The Postelles and the Stills braved through their entire sets only to emerge from the stage covered in pigeon droppings. The Kings of Leon decided to try their luck and play their set but were forced to leave after an unhealthy encounter. Drummer Nathan Followill told fans via Twitter "We had to bail, pigeons shitting in Jared's mouth and it was too unsanitary to continue. Don't take it out on Jared, it's the f**king venue's fault. You may enjoy being sh*t on but we don't. Sorry for all who traveled many miles."

AC/DC have finally ended their massive Black Ice world tour, and it’s having achieved the second highest grossing tour in history. The band played 168 shows to 4.9 million people, grossing $441.6 million. Only The Rolling Stones, on the A Bigger Bang Tour from 2005-7, have made more money on the road. That brought in $558.1 million.

AC/DC - THUNDERSTRUCK
AEROSMITH - LAST CHILD

It seemed like this moment might never come, but on Friday night Aerosmith — all of Aerosmith — kicked off an American tour in Oakland, California. After a year which saw Stephen Tyler nearly replaced and Joe Perry nearly run over, the Boston bad boys are up and rocking again. Lead Guitarist, Joe Perry, has also stated that the band is thinking of recording a new album! "I feel like we haven't made the best record we can make yet," said Perry. "We owe it to ourselves. We owe it to our fans. We owe it to the label. We wanna have fun in the studio, basically. And it's time."
