It’s time to get your Foo Fighters fix. Singer Dave Grohl told BBC’s Radio 1 that the group are working on new music and now have dates to support their next album in the U.K. next summer. The band booked July 2nd and 3rd shows at the Milton Keynes Bowl in England. As far as the group’s progress, Grohl says their new album is "our heaviest work to date" with "no acoustic guitars at all." The singer also revealed that they are seven songs deep with producer Butch Vig and one of the tracks, "Dear Rosemary," features a guest appearance by Bob Mould. One other notable guest is Grohl’s former Nirvana bandmate, bassist Krist Novoselic, who plays on at least one track. Dave says the band are documenting their record making process and will incorporate it into an upcoming film. He concludes, "2011, you’re not gonna be able to get us out of your hair."

NINE INCH NAILS - HEAD LIKE A HOLE

Stop us if you’ve heard this before, but Nine Inch Nails’ "Pretty Hate Machine" is about to be reissued. The difference this time though is that it’s being done with Trent Reznor’s approval. Over the years, the disc landed in the hands of a few different labels after the band’s original publishing firm was gobbled up. But the group’s 1989 debut is now in the hands of Reznor and engineer Tom Baker who provided new mixes for what Reznor says is "a greatly improved sonic experience." In a posting, the vocalist added, "It’s been an interesting trip watching the fate of this record float from one set of hands to another (a long and depressing story), but it’s finally wound up in friendly territory, allowing us to polish it up a bit and present it to you now. We had fun revisiting this old friend. Hope you enjoy." The "Pretty Hate Machine" reissue arrives November 22nd.
