VELVET REVOLVER - FALL TO PIECES Over the last couple of weeks, the YouTube channel QOTSAarchive has added dozens of high-quality live footage from recent Queens of the Stone Age shows, as well as older rare footage, interviews, and more. It appears that the next Queens of the Stone Age album will not see the light of day this year as many had hoped. If you’re going crazy for a Queens fix, you may be able to curb your cravings with the countless hours of footage added to their YouTube channel over the course of the last month. The channel QOTSAarchive features full concert footage from around 27 sets of live performances ranging from 1999 to 2011. In addition to full concerts, there are interviews, TV appearances, AOL sessions, and even frequent Queens’ collaborators Mark Lanegan and Alain Johannes have concert footage available on the channel. There are also performances from Josh Homme side projects Them Crooked Vultures and Eagles of Death Metal available on the page. ------------------------BREAK------------------------- Is Frances Bean Cobain getting married? That’s the rumor started by the daughter of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and her boyfriend recently when they both apparently changed their Facebook relationship status to “engaged” and eluded to marriage in a handful of posts on the social networking site. Nineteen-year-old Frances and her beau, singer Isaiah Silva of the band the Rambles, have been dating for more than a year — and apparently plan on spending many more together. “Getting to spend the rest of my life loving my best friend makes me the luckiest woman in the world,” Frances wrote in one of her Facebook posts. One thing known for sure is that she inherited approximately 37 percent of her late father’s estate when she turned 18, and earlier this year plunked down $1.8 million for a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath mansion in Los Angeles. Perhaps the two are getting ready to nest in style?
NIRVANA - LITHIUM Steven Tyler returned to the stage Wednesday night in Paraguay, a day after a shower accident at his hotel cost him some teeth, a black eye and a day's delay in rocking Asuncion. Early fans reports and video suggest Tyler was back in fine form, seemingly much improved over his performance in Lima, Peru on Saturday. For his part, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry updated fans on his singer's status early Wednesday: "Happy Steven is feeling better today. He's a real trooper. Aerosmith is playing the show in Paraguay tonight." ---------------------BREAK------------------------ Malcolm Dent, the curator of Jimmy Page’s haunted house, has died at 67. Dent moved to the Highlands with Page in 1971 when the Led Zeppelin guitarist bought Boleskine House – the former home of occultist Aleister Crowley. Dent ran the property for 20 years, during which he claimed to have witnessed paranormal activity including furniture moving by itself.
