SLASH - BACK FROM CALI

Slash update! Slash auctioned off many of his prize possessions at Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills on Saturday, where bidders could buy his old t-shirts, leather jackets, antique furniture, guitars and even and a 1966 Corvette. While speaking about the auction, Slash also told Rolling Stone that he is working on his next record outside of Velvet Revolver with singer Myles Kennedy. "We're writing. Other than that, I'm doing Slasher Films, which is a horror movie production company that I recently started," Slash said. As for Velvet Revolver, he told the magazine, "We have not resolved the singer situation yet. We keep making stabs at it, but nothing's come out of it. We're very particular about what it should sound like. Sometimes a couple of guys might agree on one singer, and a couple of them might not, but for the most part I think the right person will be a universal decision between all the guys."

Arcade Fire completed the 3-peat last night at the Junos winning the best album award for "The Suburbs". The big story of the night though was Legend,  Neil Young. Neil Young was honoured with three Juno Awards this weekend, including Artist Of The Year, the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award and... strangely enough for him, the Adult Alternative Album Of The Year. Young received the trophy for last year's Le Noise, and seemed a little perplexed by the category when he picked it up on stage and when he arrived back stage in the media room.  "I'm an adult. There's no alternative. It's just me," he joked on Saturday.  He went on to say he doesn't really get genre labels like pop, R&B and the likes. "I don't know anything about that," he said. "All the handles and everything for all the different kinds of music, that's all somebody else's thing. It's all music to me." This year marked the 40th anniversary of the Juno Awards, which began in 1970 — the same year Young's landmark After The Gold Rush album was released.

MY DARKEST DAYS - PORN STAR DANCING

Crazy ride for the guys in My Darkest Days as they make their way closer to Casper for the Tuesday night show with Three Days Grace. After a show in Spokane, they flipped their one day old tour bus on a muddy/snowy road somewhere in Idaho. Everyone is a little shaken up but checked out ok – we're hearing they had to miss their appearance in Boise, but are on track for the Casper appearance. See photos of the accident on todays 94xposed page at 94xfm.com!

1994 - Nirvana's Kurt Cobain entered a 12-step program in Marina Del Rey, California after an intervention that was put together by Courtenay Love. He didn't stay long though, only lasting through one and a half days before scaling the fence and hopping a flight back to Seattle. Duff Mckagan saw Kurt on that flight and the two talked at length during the flight and as the waited for their bags. To this day Duff states that he knew something was wrong but didn't think to much of it.
