Against Me! return in June with “White Crosses,” an album that finds singer Tom Gabel working piano into the mix of sounds you hear. The vocalist says that between albums, he began to learn more about the piano and tried to write some with piano leading the way. He tells us, “One of the things about piano is that you realize real easily the way that you can form chords in different ways affects the way a chord sounds. You realize, ‘I can translate to guitar and form chords different ways and it makes it a new thing.’” Gabel’s creative piano side can be heard on Against’s Me’s “White Crosses,” due June 8th.

Buckcherry have finished recording their new album – and it should be out by late summer. The record’s to be called All Night Long and the title track is to be put out as a single. The band describe this song as “an instant top-down summer anthem”. Courtney Love (or Courtney Michelle as she now prefers to be called) is seriously considering selling off the rights to late Nirvana leader Kurt Cobain’s music. Stating that she feels her former husband’s money has been ‘cursed’, the Hole leader told The Scotsman: “I’m thinking about selling off all of Kurt’s publishing. All of the rights, everything. It’s not a financial decision; it’s an emotional one. He was the best friend I’ve ever had, but Kurt and I were only married for three years, and now I need to have my own life. I’m always ‘the widow’ and that drives me nuts. That money has been cursed since the day it started to come in.” Courtney says she feels this is the only way she might be able to move on in her life. With Hole releasing a new album, Nobody’s Daughter, and about to tour, Courtney has been busy drumming up headlines, She’s even claimed in an interview with Howard Stern that she had an affair with Gavin Rossdale, who’s married to Gwen Stefani!

Slash had an indecent proposal for popster Justin Bieber when the pair met in Sydney, Australia this weekend - he invited the 16 year old to a strip club. The pair met over the weekend and Bieber suggested they head out for dinner - but Slash had other plans for a meeting with the teenager. Slash explains, "I told him, I said maybe me and the Mrs. will take you to a strip bar. But that didn't happen 'cause his minder told me that he's got a curfew and he's with his mom."
