It's official: Van Halen are hitting the road in 2012. The band has issued a tour announcement preview video, letting fans know the first tickets will go on sale January 10. While no other details were made available at this time, it is expected that a list of tour dates will be revealed prior to the January 10 on sale date. VH posted a few versions of the preview, featuring footage filmed last month at The Roxy in Hollywood; the material is rumored to be from a forthcoming video for a brand new song. No details, yet, on a single or album release date, but VH did release an image of a freight train with the date 2.7.12 on it. First single? Album?

Chevelle has debuted the new music video for their latest single "Face To The Floor." "It's an angry song," explains lead singer and songwriter PETE LOEFFLER about the inspiration for "Face to the Floor." "The lyrics are about all the people who have been taken advantage of. I reference Bernie Madoff and his Ponzi scheme. He raked people over the coals, stole and is a terrible person. One day, these people have everything, and the next day it's completely gone." FOO FIGHTERS - ROPE It was bound to happen sooner or later: KISS, a band whose logo adorns just about every product imaginable, is getting its own miniature golf course in Las Vegas. But this won't be your typical mix of windmills and clowns mouths. As Blabbermouth.net reports, KISS By Monster Mini Golf will feature a group-themed video arcade and wedding chapel, as well as event rooms and a "Rock 'n' Roll All Nite" Cafe. As an added bonus, fans who want to leave their mark on the decor -- and have between $20 and $5,000 to spare -- are invited to submit photos of themselves in their KISS finery. The images will adorn various parts of the venue, depending on the price point. At the "Diamond Level," KISS obsessives get their likeness added to a rotating gallery on the 1st or 18th hole, as well as an authentic costume and invitation to the upcoming launch party. ----------------------BREAK------------------------- It hasn't been confirmed by official sources, but it's possible that Aerosmith's Steven Tyler got engaged to longtime girlfriend Erin Brady over the holidays. TMZ reports the couple were photographed in Maui on Christmas Day and that Brady was sporting a new diamond ring on her finger.
