If you didn't hear, about a month ago Gene Simmons' proposed to long-time girlfriend Shannon Tweed in Belize during an episode of his family's TV show, Gene Simmons' Family Jewels. Together with Tweed for 28 years and the father of her two children, Simmons has famously sworn he would never get married. But, something in him changed apparently and now they even have a date set. According to BW&BK sources, Simmons has set October 1st as his wedding day. I'm sure the wedding will be outrageous and over the top, becasue, well, it's Gene Simmons

IRON MAIDEN's Bruce Dickinson will join JETHRO TULL frontman Ian Anderson and Justin Hayward of the MOODY BLUES on Saturday, December 10 for what is being billed as "Canterbury Rocks At Christmas" in the nave at the famed Canterbury Cathedral in Kent, England in support of The Canterbury Gift, which raises money for renovation work on the cathedral. Needless to say, that would be one Christmas Variety special I wouldn't mind checking out. Here's hoping youtube decided to stream it
