2011 will be a big year for Metallica. The band are celebrating their 30th anniversary together and intend on doing something special. Singer James Hetfield told Australia’s Video Hits, “We’ve gotta do something. There’s no doubt about that. There are quite a few bands that have made it 30 years, but these days, I think it’s getting a little harder to survive 30 years. The fact that we’ve made it 30 years is pretty unbelievable.” Hetfield says he’s surprised that they’ve made it this far on good terms and adds, “There are bands that tour that have multiple dressing rooms. ‘Oh, you wanna talk to him? His lawyer is in building 3.’ But we’re still hanging together. We’ve been through hell together, and hopefully enjoying some heaven as well.”
METALLICA - NO LEAF CLOVER
MOTLEY CRUE - GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS
Rocker Tommy Lee fears his son Brandon has inherited his womanizing ways after catching the 14 year old trying to pick up groupies. Brandon and 12-year-old Dylan, Lee's kids with ex-wife Pamela Anderson, have joined their dad on his current tour with band Methods of Mayhem. And the drummer fears they're picking up all his bad habits. Lee tells People magazine, "They love coming on tour. Brandon will say to women, 'Come backstage and meet my dad,' But really I think he's scamming for himself."

As I mentioned earlier, we added a few new tracks to the X playlist yesterday and Ill wrap up the show today by debuting ANOTHER new single on 94X! Anberlin came out of nowhere in 2008 with an album called "No Surrender". On the back of a HUGE single called "Feel Good Drag" they ripped up the charts selling more than 700,000 albums in their very short career. They have proven the naysayers wrong and have shown that they are not just a one hit wonder!
The new album is called "Dark Is The Way, Light Is A Place" and I'm going to wrap up the show by debuting the track "Impossible"!
ANBERLIN - IMPOSSIBLE
